Inspired by nature since 1860, Sanderson is still producing new hand-drawn designs and gems from its archive.

Since 1860, Sanderson has taken its inspiration from the wonders of the English countryside, furnishing every kind of home with its distinctive style. Influenced by nature, the Sanderson look is typified by easy to live with hand-drawn designs.

Founded in Islington, London by Arthur Sanderson, the company is now one of the oldest English soft furnishing brands manufacturing fabric, wallpaper and paint, augmented by home accessories. Holders of the Royal Warrant since 1923, Sanderson still provides fabrics, paint and wallcoverings to HM Queen Elizabeth II and the British royal palaces.

With a dedicated design team, based in Denham, Buckinghamshire, the Sanderson studio conjures up new creative ideas. Additionally, the Sanderson archive, which contains documents dating back to the renaissance period, provides a fantastic resource and source of plentiful inspiration.
