We’ve chosen seven innovative lighting designs to illuminate your home

Ladies & Gentlemen
Ladies & Gentlemen has teamed up with Norwegian design studio Vera & Kyte to introduce the Krane sconce light. The simple shape mimics the functionality of a crane, while the cord glides through the arch with ease in order to raise and lower the shade for practicality. Made from aluminium, glass and steel, the light measures 21 x 10 x 44.5 inches. The collection is available as either a chandelier or sconce version.

CTO Lighting
Designed to form the shape of an abstract leaf, the Trico wall light by CTO Lighting is made from satin brass and nickel, while the rotatable shade allows for the shape to be placed as desired. Measuring 38cm in length, the light itself is hand finished – resulting in a high quality piece.

The Notredame light by Karman is a collection of decorative ceiling, swinging, and wall lamps. Designed to mimic the stained glass windows of the eponymous Gothic cathedral in Paris, it can be painted in varying colours to coincide with the interior scheme and create a 3D effect. Inside, the lamp conceals an LED light that radiates both a direct and indirect light through the diffuser. Made from gold techno-polymer, choose from white and gold finishes. Available in two sizes.

Louis Poulsen
Copenhagen-based Danish designer Christian Flindt has added to his lighting collection by creating a new circular wall-mounted light – the Flindt Wall lamp. The cut-out shape gives efficient horizontal illumination that’s ideal for indoor and outdoor use. Available in three finishes – aluminium, white or corten coloured – the Flindt wall light can be placed at any level on the surface and measures 20 x 30 x 40cm. The oval shape is lifted off the mounting surface, giving the fixture a light, floating appearance, while from the side the wall lamp resembles a slim ellipse consisting of two overlapping ovals.

Astro Lighting
British lighting brand Astro Lighting presents the Yuma wall light, which provides effective illumination within a cylindrical shaped light. Launching at this year’s Sleep + Eat event, it is available as a single and twin wall light, while the fitting adds subtle interest within an interior scheme. Choose from matt nickel and bronze finishes.

Designed by Italian designers Paolo Lucidi and Luca Pevere, the Bahia wall light’s compact and simple design consists of two matt white injection moulded polycarbonate structures that are fitted together asymmetrically. Measuring 55 x 53cm, the unique egg shape design explores the use of light and shade, while the concrete glows offers visual depth, which can be used to create multiple compositions.

Exploring a variety of visual dimensions, the collection of Wall Shadows lighting by Nemo is designed by Charles Kalpakian. This sculptural design creates a spatial focal point when displayed. It features bold geometries and angular shapes, and the dynamic wall light includes a folded layering of elements that are displayed on top of a rectangular frame for structural support. This 3D panel frame is embedded with LED lamps that creates a soft and atmospheric glow when illuminated and measures 120mm x 90mm.
