December 2018: We’ve chosen seven luxury hardware collections for doors and cabinets
Superfront launches a new set of hardware. The Long Circus and Long Mini Circus collection matches the brand’s existing circular Circus handles. Available in brass, copper, aluminium and matt-black finishes, they measure 12.8cm in standard dimensions, while the width corresponds to the diameters of the round handles.
Turnstyle Design introduces two new door knob designs to its collection. The Layer – designed by Wayne Dymond – is a bold design, stacked between two slim layers of brass and set in contemporary rose. Timber is held together between the solid brass to produce the modern door knob. Each design is available in over 64 combinations of materials and finishes.
The semi-circular hammered cabinet handle by Joseph Giles is handmade with luxury solid brass. Available in an array of sizes and plated finishes, each statement hammered handle is created using tooling applied by hand, ensuring no two are the same for a unique flair. The handles are supplied as single items with solid brass M5 fixing bolts in a matching finish.
Buster + Punch
Buster + Punch introduces the T-Bar handle to its collection. Made from solid brass, it features a signature diamond-cut, cross knurl pattern. The circular blackplate made from solid brass is finished with brass penny buttons, while the T-Bar can be attached to cabinets, wardrobe doors, or kitchen units. Available in four finish combinations – brushed brass, smoked bronze and black metal – choose from a circular plate, penny buttons or with a small disc.
Black and Key
The Bow Collection by Black and Key introduces a complete suite of hardware to its collection. The architectural ironmongery is available in bronze, brushed nickel, antique brass and bespoke waxed or unvarnished finishes. Fully customisable, the design is based on the unique shape of the bow cabinet handle – created in collaboration with the experienced SDS’ skilled team. Dimensions and finishes can be customised for large orders of the collection.
Christopher Peacock – specialist in handcrafted cabinetry introduces new handles from its Culinarium kitchen collection to its range. The bespoke rose gold hardware is exclusive to Christopher Peacock and comes with a choice of leather of fabric backing. Their hardware is only available with their cabinetry and not sold separately.
Phillip Watts Design
The Facet handle from Philip Watts Design is handmade in solid bronze from their Nottingham workshop and can be seen in the company’s London showroom.
