As we head into winter, wallcoverings with a metallic flourish will bring warmth to your interior scheme

Inspired by Maresca Interiors’ modern Brazilian tapestries, RAW is an original custom design using geometric shapes hand painted onto brushed artist’s linen. The variety of contrasts and brushstroke combinations gives volume and form to a space. The collection features vibrant combinations or urban colours and bold metallic shades resulting in a powerful piece of art that can be wrapped around the walls.

Japura wallcoverings from Romo feature tropical scenes and exotic foliage enriched by lustrous metallic. The collection also includes pearl and matt finishes to create an abundance of texture and dimension.

Newmor has launched three wide-width, fabric-backed vinyl wallcoverings for the commercial interiors market. The new designs showcase a spectrum of metallic effects – including distressed tiles, a vertical woven emboss and an industrial studded texture. Stud (shown) is one of Newmor’s most heavyweight wallcoverings, perfect for uneven walls and high traffic areas.

Little Greene

Brodsworth from Little Greene is available in three colourways, with a lively and engaging design featuring striking birds and delicate floral motifs. Slightly raised and incorporating rich, gilding detail, the pattern is based on early 18th century French textiles. The wallpaper was found at Brodsworth Hall in South Yorkshire – an elegant Victorian home – where it was used in both the library and the morning room.

De Gournay

Each De Gournay wallcovering is created individually to a specific brief. Here, hand-painted Badminton Chinoiserie on white metal gilded paper was designed for an interior scheme created by Joan Craig.

Philip Jeffries

Classic marquetry and tilework inspired Woven Wood, an intricate pattern that merges the look of a traditional basket weave with a luxurious finish. Real wood veneer is given a colour wash, dye-cut and hand laid on a metallic ground in a laced pattern to create a graphic, three dimensional effect. Woven Wood is available in eight colourways.

Leatherwall is a collection of leather wallcoverings available from Studioart. The new Le Mans range is inspired by the diagonal alignment of cars on the track at the start of a race. Metal panels are embedded into the leather to create a striking effect. It is available in cognac, navy and cream
