Studio Seven: shower trays

The DuPont™ Corian® simple 30mm-thick Smart tray is available in 12 dimensions and bespoke sizes. It can also be combined with Corian® cladding, wet walls, and surfaces, and be installed completely flush for a totally seamless look.

William Garvey shower trays are made to measure from a 2.5mm teak veneer on specialist marine ply. The grids and duckboards are made of solid teak and supported on removable rubber studs for easy cleaning.

Available at Pure Bathrooms, the Just Trays Softstone combines a stone-look finish with a cushioned, ergonomic surface. Size options range from 800 x 800m  to 2,050mm x 1,000mm, 30 mm in height and available in three colourways. It is also completely recyclable.

Kaldewei’s latest floor-level shower surface is Cayonoplan, which is ultra flat and features a laterally-positioned waste outlet. With a rim height of 32mm or – for formats with side lengths of over 120cm – 40mm, it can also be installed on top of tiles.

Italy’s Glass 1989 has produced the textured Calce collection. The range is formed in MineraLite – a composite of minerals and resins which has an unusual ‘spatulared’ cement effect in five colours. It is available in various sizes, which can be cut to fit during installation.

Unislope is Alternative Bathrooms’s “Wet Room Kit” one piece floor slope. It was created to get a seamless, completely waterproof wet room seal, but with the right angle to ensure proper drainage. Discreet architectural drains, flush to the floor, complete the look.

Stonetto is made by Duravit using DuraSolid Q, a stone-look special cast mineral, non-slip material.  It is available in 12 sizes, in the natural shades of white, sand, and anthracite as well as – new for 2018 –  the grey concrete colourway seen
