The annual kbbreview Retail & Design Awards recognise the best kitchen and bathroom projects from across the country.

There are three categories for the Bathroom Design Awards – project cost up to £10,000; project cost £10,000 to £25,000; and project cost over £25,000.

Earlier this year, I was delighted to be asked to join the judging panel at the Roca showroom in Chelsea Harbour, where the finalists in each category presented their project and we had the difficult task of choosing the winner.

The standard, as always, was incredibly high but the designs that we chose were aesthetically pleasing, would function well and met or exceeded the client brief.

I also want to extend a big thank you to my fellow judges Cheryl Gurner of CG Design, Stephen Dick of Residence Interior Design, Vanessa Brady OBE interior designer and founder of the SBID, and interior designer Linda Barker.

The awards were presented on Monday 2 March at a spectacular Indian-themed dinner at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel – you can read all about the three winners in the April edition of Studio.
