The British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) has announced four regional Ask the Expert events for 2020. The sessions will give interior designers the opportunity to ask questions and seek advice from a range of industry experts and will take place in Harrogate, Knutsford, Caerphilly, Edinburgh and London.
Harriet Forde, president of the BIID, says: “With 40% of our members working in practices outside of the capital, these events are a step in the right direction when it comes to forming a strong design community across the UK. As an institute, we recognise the value and importance of hosting events around the country to strengthen our regional presence.”
Designed to be interactive and fast-paced, the free sessions will provide professional guidance and allow interior designers to network with industry peers. Hosts include OKA Direct, Havwoods and Woodpecker Flooring. The first event is at Lapicida in Harrogate in May
