New London Architecture (NLA) is calling for entries to Don’t Move, Improve! 2020. The annual competition – now celebrating its 10th year – encourages great design in everyday life and showcases the diversity and character of homes being re-designed in London.

The competition encompasses a wide range of home improvement projects that tackle the constraints of living in London’s urban context in an imaginative way.

As understanding of the importance of quality housing grows, these projects demonstrate how well-designed homes can improve quality of life and create functional space solutions in the smallest of sites, while also celebrating the personalities of the clients and designers.

The competition is open to practices and homeowners who have carried out extensions on top of, underneath and on the side or back of homes, or interior insertions, conversions and garden studios within Greater London since 1 September 2017.

For more information and to enter online, visit the NLA website. Projects need to be submitted before Thursday 17 October 2019.
