May 2018: The 2018 London Design Festival has announced its nine-day programme of events and exhibitions across the city from 15-23 September. This year marks 10 years of the V&A as the event’s official hub, and for 2018 visitors will be able to enjoy an interactive modular installation in The Sackler Courtyard. The temporary pavilion, titled MultiPly, will be a collaboration between Waugh Thistleton Architects, the American Hardwood Export Council, and ARUP. Other projects at the V&A include Dazzle by Studio Frith, Memory & Light by Arvo Pärt and ARUP, and A Fountain for London by Michael Anastassiades. Landmark commissions will include a series of alphabet chairs from Kellenberger-White and a contemporary tea installation from Scholten and Baijings.
