June 2018: London Design Festival has announced four new Design Districts: Fitzrovia Design District, Marylebone Design District, Regent Street and St James’s Design District, and West Kensington Design District. These will join the event’s existing six areas for 2018. Fitzrovia will be hosting established and new design influencers including homewares, architecture, the built environment, and product design, while Marylebone will showcase a diverse range of design retailers, galleries, and workshops. At the heart of the West Kensington district, 100% Design and the Design Museum will sit alongside events and exhibitions at the Television Centre, Japan House, and Arthill Gallery. In addition to the launch of the new design districts, Paddington Central has been named as a new design route in recognition of a smaller cluster of design activity.
