Islington is the latest addition to Little Greene’s retail portfolio, joining London showrooms in Marylebone, Chelsea and Notting Hill.
The ‘small yet perfectly formed’ showroom only managed to open for one day before the current lockdown started, but it will open again on December 2nd in line with government guidelines.
The new showroom will offer visitors the chance to peruse the extensive Little Greene paint and wallpaper collection in an intimate, boutique style setting.
The showroom exterior has been painted in the brand’s Yellow-Pink, and inside a large cubic colour display, which adorns the walls and even the ceiling, will allow customers to browse the vast selection of colours in varying dimensions. The colour wall includes ‘Colours of England’, ‘Grey’ and the latest ‘Green’ collection created in association with the National Trust.
The entire Little Greene wallpaper collection will be on display to inspire pattern and colour combinations, creating a useful local resource for interior designers.
Visitors will be able to pick-up colour cards, take-away A4 wallpaper samples, purchase 60ml sample pots and, with paint tinting offered on site, purchase any colour and finish directly in store.
The new showroom team will be available to offer expert advice on paint colours, suitable finishes and wallpapers.
Ruth Mottershead, creative director at Little Greene said, ‘We are thrilled to be opening our fourth retail showroom in the capital. It will be fantastic to share inspiration and form direct relationships with local designers and homeowners. Islington, with its creative spirit and wealth of bustling retail offerings from vintage to designer, is a great British high street location and the perfect fit for Little Greene.’
